James 1:2-4 (MSG) Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way.
The Holy Spirit of God is dwelling in Faithful Christians 24hours, so we don’t have any excuse to lie about being overpowered by temptation to sin against the Lord God Almighty Jehovah Elohim.
If we don’t Blaspheme, Grieve or Quench the Holy Spirit, HE is very available to help us overcome temptations, all the time!
1 Corinthians 10:13 (MSG) No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; HE will never let you be pushed past your limit; HE will always be there to help you come through it.
Matthew 4:1-11
Then was Potentate Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
And when HE had fasted forty days and forty nights, HE was afterward an hungred.
And when the tempter came to HIM, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
But HE answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Then the devil taketh HIM up into the holy city, and setteth HIM on a pinnacle of the temple,
And saith unto HIM, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, HE shall give his Angels charge concerning THEE: and in their hands they shall bear THEE up, lest at any time THOU dash thy foot against a stone.
Master Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
Again, the devil taketh HIM up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth HIM all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
And saith unto HIM, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
Then saith King Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
Then the devil leaveth HIM, and, behold, Angels came and ministered unto HIM.
The enemy is an unbeliever, so no matter how much you confess Lord Jesus Christ, it will never believe you until you overcome the devil and its laughable tests.
Be happy to boast in the Lord Jesus Christ and show the devil that, you are not an evil spirit but a child of God!
